We hope you can join us for our annual Walk for Love event this year! This is the first year we're incorporating a timed 5K run, which will start just before our 1-mile walk, roll or stroll!After the walk and run, you can enjoy the zoo for as long as you like! The zoo opens at 9:30 to the public. Zoo ticket and t-shirt is included with registration.
Event schedule:
• Registration starts at 7 a.m.
• 5K run begins at 8 a.m.
• 1-mille walk, roll and stroll begins at 8:10 a.m.
• Awards program on the stage, near the Outback Outpost, starts at 9 a.m.
• At 9:30 a.m., our event will conclude and you may enjoy the Zoo for as long as you desire. At that time, the Zoo will be opened for timed tickets to the public.
Since 2015, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia has hosted Walk for LOVE, a 1-mile fun walk and family festival benefiting our hospital, with more than $840,000 raised over the years. Numerous past and current patients, families, donors, Shriners, and others have walked to support our mission.
