The 7th Annual Virginia Osprey Foundation invites you to join us in Colonial Beach, Virginia, on the shores of the beautiful Potomac River as we celebrate the return of the osprey from their wintering grounds in South America. This festival is the perfect venue for families, birders, and nature enthusiasts! There is something for everyone! We offer expert speakers, exhibitors, artisan vendors, golf cart and trolley nest tours, live raptors, and bird walks along the Potomac River. Our ever popular "Nestlings' Corner" will be back with educational and fun activities for our young attendees! Have a photo shoot in an eagle's nest and get up close and personal to ambassador birds of prey! Make a weekend of it and stay at our host hotel, Riverview Inn. Attend our Art Walk on Friday night, Saturday after the festival, experience live music at CB Brewing for the Grand Ole Osprey! Dinner at Muse for great pizza and enjoy shopping at Magnolia Hall! On Sunday, our Northern Neck Master Naturalists will be leading bird walks at two of our parks and Sunday afternoon come to the beach for "Fly Like an Osprey" kite flying sponsored by the Town of Colonial Beach Parks and Rec.
