Join Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee and the Office of Energy Resources for the 7th Annual Lead by Example Clean Energy Awards Ceremony.
The Lead by Example program recognizes State agencies, municipal governments, quasi-public agencies, and public schools for implementing clean energy projects that collectively lower our state’s energy use and add to our renewable energy resources.
The Clean Energy Awards honor these organizations that are leading by example with their clean energy projects.
This year's nominees include:
Municipalities: East Providence, Lincoln, Newport, North Kingstown, Providence
Public Schools: Central Falls School District, Chariho Regional School District, Lincoln Public School District, North Kingstown School Department, Pawtucket School Department, Portsmouth School Department, Providence Public School Department, South Kingstown School District, Woonsocket Education Department
State Agencies: Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals, Department of Corrections, Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance, Rhode Island Army National Guard, Rhode Island College, University of Rhode Island
