HUMAN FOOSBALL RULES:
•Teams will consist of 6 people (1 goalie, three mids and two forwards). This is a single elimination tournament, 16 team bracket. There is a $60 entry fee for each team, with the top three teams taking home cash prizes.
•Like the table version of the game, foosball plays like soccer with two teams trying to score on each other by kicking a soccer ball into the net (without using your hands). The difference with foosball is that the players cannot move forward or backwards- only side to side along their pole.
•In human foosball, players must keep BOTH hands on their pole at all times. Players may not switch positions during the game. The soccer ball should be kept on the ground- i.e. no kicks that would lob the ball over other players. Play begins with the referee tossing the soccer ball into the center of the playing field between the sets of mids, at which time each team attempts to move the ball toward, and ultimately into the opponent's goal. The referee will have the final say on all calls.
•10 minute games, with the highest score winning.
•Registration starts at 6pm. The tournament begins at 7pm on Friday, July 29th. Registering early online guarantees a spot for your team.
