Two days of live Country Western entertainment are the focus of the event. The live entertainment this season starts off with Jake and the Ol’ Goats. Jake and the Ol’ Goats is a band that showcases a country music genre referred to as Outlaw Country. In the 1970’s and early 1980’s this country music movement was born, with country musicians that were independent from the standard Nashville sound of the time. The outlaws abandoned lush orchestrations, stripped the music to its country core, and added rock sensibility to the sound. The Outlaws were known for their honky-tonk songs and country ballads. Jake Stacy of the Ol’ Goats captures that Outlaw Country sound with his captivating vocals, performing classic and more modern songs.
Johnny Young, our Emcee for the event, will be playing on Saturday. Johnny is an award-winning Country music artist with dozens of albums recorded with several bands. This versatile guitarist/singer songwriter has been on stage since age 6, entertaining music fans all over with his fun stage persona, catchy originals and hot guitar licks. After years as a dedicated band member, Johnny struck out on his own with a batch of songs and a plane ticket to Nashville. With a big love for classic and 90s era County Music, Johnny writes songs from the heart that resonate with listeners, while his high energy live show whips audiences into a Rockin’ Country frenzy.
The headline entertainer on Friday is Harry Luge. Harry Luge and the Desert Drifters bring the fire of the desert and the heart of the road to every stage they hit. Fronted by Arizona born singer/songwriter Harry Luge, this high-energy crew is more than a band – it’s a family, literally and musically. Tara Luge, Harry’s wife and partner in everything, holds it down on drums, Cajon, mandolin and vocals. A natural performer from the High Desert of California and former Arizona Cardinals cheerleader, Tara is known for her contagious smile, fierce work ethic, and creative spirit. She is not only on stage, but also behind the scenes managing, writing songs, and running the business like a boss. Harlee Luge, their daughter, brings the low end on bass and vocals. Born and raised in Arizona and a Grand Canyon University grad, Harlee’s got a creative soul, a fun-loving personality, a stage presence that lights up any room. Together, they are The Desert Drifters – a tight knit band delivering a live show full of heart, grit, and good music. And at the center of it all is Harry Luge. A country artist who makes you feel something real. With a voice as rugged as the backroads and a stage presence that pulls you in like an old friend, Harry mixes timeless country storytelling with a modern edge for a sound that’s all heart and 100% authentic.
The headline entertainers on Saturday are Keith as Kenny Chesney Tribute and Mandy as Miranda.
Keith is from Phoenix, AZ and has been performing as Kenny Chesney for over eleven years. The Keith as Kenny show has been feature acts at multiple Casinos, fairs, festivals, private and corporate events all over the country. Keith is the number one look-a-like and is often mistaken for Kenny Chesney in everyday life. In fact, Keith was “discovered” because of his striking resemblance to Kenny Chesney. Keith comes from a musical family and has refined his sound and mannerisms so much that he has been assumed to be Kenny, even by celebrities. Keith brings the high energy show that Kenny Chesney fans have come to expect.
From the inspiration of American country signer Miranda Lambert; Mandy as Miranda brings her mainstream country music to audiences everywhere! Mandy’s high-energy performances transport audiences directly into the live concert of Miranda Lambert. Fans tell her time and time again that they loved the singing, stomping and guitar playing! With a passion for country music Mandy’s music career over the years is known for performing a style of widely invigorating and exciting every time she straps on that guitar and steps up to the microphone.
Bring the family and enjoy great music, food court, beer garden, kid’s activities, vendors and more. Bring a lawn chair and please leave your pets at home. No outside coolers.
