"Rhinoceritis in the Making" is a bold, multidisciplinary performance that blends saxophone, vocals, spoken word, and other surprising elements into an immersive experience. As the title suggests, this is not the final form but rather an evolving exploration, where sound, movement, and storytelling come together in unexpected ways.
Ella Joseph is a Romanian-born independent visual and theatre performance artist. Recognized for her strong conceptual and artistic vision, her work—spanning genres from video and installation art to theatre performance—has been showcased at various venues and festivals across Europe and Canada. Since 2007, she has been creating and presenting new work at her studio, ScenoArt, as well as other unconventional spaces in Buffalo, NY.
Ella’s multidisciplinary and experimental multimedia experiences have been described as “capable of charming and disturbing an audience in equal measure, and always somewhat concerned with human vulnerability” (Colin Dabkowski, Buffalo News).
As an author and performance maker, she is extremely grateful to work with talented and dedicated artists who are willing to step outside their comfort zones to bring her characters and vision to life. (scenoart.net)
