Come celebrate UUCC’s 75th anniversary this monthOur congregation’s 75th anniversary is coming up on Jan. 28, 2026.
On the evening of Jan. 28, 1951, Philip and Ruth Stone, Addison Gulicks, Frank Mott, Huber Croft, and 14 other religious liberals met at the Daniel Boone Hotel in Columbia to form the new Columbia Unitarian Fellowship. Since that date, our community has grown and flourished, struggled at times and continued, and fed our spirits, always, with its curiosity, wide inclusion, and deep love.
Please join us to celebrate the past, present, and future of our congregation with the following offerings:
Founder’s Day Worship Service – 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 25 – featuring reflections on our congregation’s 75 years and dreaming of our next 75.
75th Anniversary Party – 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30 – With live music, small plates, drinks and toasts to our beloved community. Free childcare will be provided.
