Benefit from the power of Yin Yoga as Hannah guides you through a 75 minute class. Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses that are held for longer periods of time—three minutes or longer per pose is typical. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues—tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Because Yin Yoga is practiced when the muscles are not yet warmed up, it is recommended that you bring extra layers to keep warm while practicing. Many consider Yin Yoga to be one of the most difficult forms of yoga due to mental work one must do in order to remain calm and relaxed through the deep stretches within the longer held poses.
This class is still the normal class price of $13, but will be 75 minutes long.
