The 7 Years’ War Speaker Series is a monthly lecture program featuring historians and experts on topics relating to the Seven Years’ War – a global war involving most of the European great powers, fought primarily in Europe and the Americas between 1756-1763. November’s Speaker is Leon Briggs, a member of the Tonawanda Seneca of the Hawk Clan. He will discuss the local history, territories, and way of life of the Seneca in western Pennsylvania. His presentation will include a display of historical Seneca artifacts.
