Silver jewellery making course suitable for all levels including total beginners and those with some experience.Learn a range of jewellery making and design techniques that will enable you to create at least 3 pieces of work designed and hand crafted by you.
Week beginning September 8th – Oct 20th
1-2 – Aluminium
3-4 – Domed pendant / earrings or Spoon making
5-6 – Hinged pendant with stone setting or statement cabochon pendant / brooch
7 – Finishing and polishing
2 weeks break
Week beginning Nov 10th – Dec 15th
1-2 – keum-boo
3-4 – Filigree / kinetic ring
5-6 – Silver or copper bowl / collet set faceted stone (round/oval/square or trillion)
Tutor: Beccy Gillatt
Level: Suitable for all including complete beginners
Materials: Additional to course fee (approx £30-60 depending on your designs and stones you choose)
