Why do some gardens, large or small, delight and even dazzle visitors while others remain flatly unimpressive? Rebecca Sweet--nationally known designer, author, and speaker-- has spent years collaborating with frustrated gardeners to help them realize their garden design dreams. Rebecca breaks out the primary causes of design disappointments into seven main categories. Mistakes such as “Tiny Gardens-Tiny Plants,” “Clashing Color Combos,” and “One-of-Each-it-Is” humorously pinpoint design sabotaging choices. Her photos and solutions both illustrate and inspire, making garden design problems even easier to recognize and remedy. Rebecca is the principal of Harmony in the Garden, a landscape company located in Northern California. This lecture will be offered both in person and on Zoom.
