About this Event

Did you know that if worms and other natural decomposers do not return the organic nutrients to nature they may end up in landfill -- where they turn into methane a dangerous greenhouse gas.

How can we avoid that and make sure that your organic materials are not wasted? If you would like to find out, this workshop is for you.

During this workshop, you will

1. Discover ways to reduce your food waste and put organic material back into the natural cycle.

2. Learn alternatives to putting food scraps in the compost bin.

3. Build your composting action plan.

4. Find out when composting is the BEST choice

5. Learn the problems caused by landfill

6. Find out about decomposers such as worms and insects and how they play a part in returning our organic matter back to earth.

This workshop is for those who

1. Need to learn what to do with food scraps

2. Want to learn little things that make a BIG difference to protect our Planet

3. Are curious about what composting is

4. Enjoy community engagement with like-minded entrepreneurs and business leaders.

PRE-WORK EDUCATION: To introduce yourself to the 7 R'S of Sustainability and why ROT was addend to the usual 3 R'S, please do these in priority order:
