Meet 10.30am outside Brentford station platform 2.Once everyone has arrived we will exit Brentford station and make our way to the Grand Union Canal.
It is a moderate pace and we will be passing some great features along the way which will be pointed out to you. There will be opportunities to stop and take photos of birds, herons, swans and lots of other wildlife. We will pass the old site of St Bernard's Hospital and another surprising development along the way which many people are unaware off.
When we approach Southall we will veer off to the Southall Gurdwara where we will explore inside and have some delicious vegetarian food. If you don't want to eat in here you can bring a packed lunch and sit and eat on the side of the canal.
After having our lunch we will then continue along the canal to Hayes and Harlington Station where we will catch the Elizabeth line back to Ealing Broadway.
(There are lots of drop out points and if anyone wanted to catch the train from Southall there is that option).
We should finish by 3pm.
