About this Event
Stanley Picker Gallery is excited to be staging our upcoming Saturday Art Club at Kingston Museum. The club is for children ages 7-11 from our local community who are enthusiastic about art and design, it is free, and all are welcome.
This session will be led by a team of Kingston School of Art students and alumni, and complement at the Museum, and reflect upon Stanley Picker Gallery’s current exhibition, , which also features work by Eadweard Muybridge.
Young artists will delve into the themes of the exhibitions in fun and engaging ways – combining interactive games, making, drawing, and discussion – as they explore the practice and processes of the exhibiting artists.
Parents and carers are encouraged to drop their children off and return at the end of the session, to see what has been going on and visit the exhibition together.
