About this Event
The 6th Space Architecture Symposium 2024, organized by the AIAA SATC and Politecnico di Milano, will explore the future of Space Architecture through a full day of engaging activities and discussions on the present and future of human space exploration.
The event will open with an introduction to the Space Architecture Technical Committee (SATC) and a talk on the history of space architecture. Experts will discuss global perspectives, Italy's contributions, and the Gateway Lunar I-Hab, followed by an International Students' Poster Session showcasing a selection of space habitation concepts developed by students from universities worldwide.
Attendees will delve into the Decadal Survey and its future trajectory before participating in parallel working groups focused on space explorers, visitors, workers, settlers, education, and employment. The day will conclude with the screening of a documentary about Constance Adams' life and work as a pioneering space architect.
