Born in Havana, Cuba, Geysa began her artistic journey at the age of 4 with classical ballet, graduating in 2009 from Havana’s Provincial Ballet School. In 2015, she earned her degree as a professional musical performer from the Cuban Institute of Music and the Ministry of Culture. Her versatility spans from modern and contemporary dance to traditional and popular Cuban styles. She has performed with renowned Cuban companies such as Teatro América and Havana Queens.
Since 2020, she co-directs HaBarna Dance Studio in Barcelona with her partner Kevin Cano, sharing her passion and teaching Cuban dance across the globe.

Born in Barcelona, Spain, Kevin is a passionate ambassador of Cuban culture, specializing in traditional, popular, and Afro-Cuban religious dances. With over 13 years of experience, he has trained under master Cuban instructors and performed at festivals and dance schools around the world — from Argentina and Germany to China, Singapore, France, Israel, Italy, Sweden, and Switzerland.
A two-time winner of the Columbia competition at the Guaguancó Festival (2016 & 2017), Kevin is also the director and choreographer of Obonekue, the first all-Spanish dance company to perform the sacred Iré dance in national and international events.
He is currently the co-founder of HaBarna Dance Studio in Barcelona, a growing hub for Cuban dance and culture in Europe.
