The Women of Distinction Awards event was created to spotlightand recognize the important role of women in our local economy
and in society. The honorees represent the most distinctive
women in business, government, education and not-for profit
fields. These women are selected by a panel of independent
business and community leaders based on accomplishments
and community involvement within Eastern Jackson County. In
addition, during this event, the 2021 recipients of the Woman
of the Year & Lifetime Achievement awards will be announced.
