The Standish Historic Depot and Welcome Center hosts its Annual Santa Parade and Lighting of the Depot each year on the Friday after Thanksgiving.It is a FREE event for parade participants and spectators alike.
The parade culminates with the arrival of SANTA at the Depot heralding the arrival of the holiday season.
This is a MUST SEE event and the lighting of the Depot is a spectacle!!
This is a lighted evening event so we encourage all vehicles and persons to "LIGHT UP!
All motorized vehicles are allowed: ATV's, wagons and tractors/trucks, golf carts etc. We encourage walkers, carolers, dance teams, cheerleaders, band members, church and civic groups. Not sure - contact us at 989-718-3021 or email @ [email protected].
Our only request is that there not be live/costumed santas on the floats as THERE IS ONLY ONE SANTA.
We also do not permit candy to be passed out or thrown from vehicles for safety reasons in darkness . If a group wants to donate candy, they can drop it off at the depot and we'll add to the bags Santa distributes. Thanks!
