Did you miss us? Don't worry! We're back, bigger and better than ever. Join us on Saturday 16th August 2025 for our best open day yet, with special guests Georgie Harrison of Hoof Matters and Sue Dawson of Calm Healthy Horses UK.
Who will benefit from coming to our open day?
> Owners struggling with metabolic, Laminitic, anxious, overweight or grass affected horses
> Owners looking to learn more about the importance of hoof health, a species appropriate diet, movement and just how this affects our horses
> Owners starting a track system or hoping to improve an already existing track system
> Owners interested in making the change to barefoot
> Owners interested in exploring alternative ways of managing horses, prioritising species appropriate living
The open day will be held at our ridden yard with tours available of our woodland track system. Weather depending, we may be able to provide tours of our main yard too, where we house our retirement and rehabilitation liveries.
What's included in the day?
> Alyson Sharpe of PB Paddock Paradise Livery will provide a tour of our woodland paddock paradise track system, used to house our ridden liveries, discussing various building stages, top-tips and her personal recommendations when it comes to building a track system from scratch.
> Various talks and demonstrations hosted by our special guests - to be announced.
> Detailed documented rehabilitation cases of our liveries, past and present, on display for attendees to look through.
> Free cake, water and tea and coffee refreshments available throughout the day, as well as a goodie bag to take home.
> Pizza De Strada - pizza van available for lunch (NOT included in open day ticket price)
> Stalls and our recommended products available for purchase - to be announced.
We'll be diving into topics such as -

- optimising your horse's diet
- hoof health and going barefoot successfully
- Laminitis and the gut
- the importance and benefits of the Paddock Paradise
- managing ongoing conditions related to diet, management and trim
- small and large track systems
- keeping your horse in a herd
- competition horses on track
Guest and stalls to be announced!
