We will meet up at KP Hole at 9:00am to stage before moving cars to the takeout at Blue Run. We will paddle upstream a short ways to Debbie Littlefield’s favorite spot then float down to Blue Run. We are also planning on making a stop into the park to explore the Park’s walking paths, waterfalls, and beautiful Headspring area. Bring along comfortable walking shoes if you plan to do this part. We will tie our crafts off to the park’s dock or a rope, then walk to the pay box and pay the $2.00 entry fee to gain access.
On our downstream float from the head springs we will take the side quest to Gissie Springs hopefully the fence will be removed by then & we can paddle/swim/snorkel all the way up in there 🤞
Food at Swampy’s afterwards.
There is a $10.00 launch fee at KP Hole.
Bring a PFD, whistle, snacks/water, sunscreen, snorkel and mask if you plan on getting in the water to swim, explore and relax. A change of dry clothes would be smart if you plan to join in at Swampy’s.
FYI- you will need reusable containers because they check for disposable containers/alcohol at KP Hole.
