About this Event
Our 6th annual Bay Area Youth Climate Summit is coming up this September! Our theme this year is "Rooted in Resistance: Bridging communities to action."
Every year, the Bay Area Youth Climate Summit hosts over 150 attendees in a day of learning, networking, and fun! Our FREE summit features an inspiring keynote and 15+ workshops across many fields: Gen-Z organizers, local non-profit & collective leaders, filmmakers, journalists, environmental educators & artists. They'll bring their knowledge of BIPOC environmental justice, creating documentaries, urban planning, climate policy, textile reuse, youth empowerment, the intersection of climate, neuroscience, & mental health, climate education & more. A comprehensive list of workshop offerings can be found
Our lunch activity fair will feature tabling from local organizations, a thrift booth, a display of Climate Action Plans (CAPs), photo-ops, pot decorating, book swaps & policy related booths! Network with youth across the Bay and learn how you can take action in your community. A light lunch is provided to all attendees, and public transportation stipends / free lunch are offered to those who qualify.
As we wrap up, win prizes in our raffle and make connections that will last a lifetime. Youth, adults, and educators are all invited!
