Aztec Engineering Inc. is happy to invite you to our 6th Annual Charity Ball Hockey Tournament on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024. Gather your co-workers, friends and family for some friendly competition in support of two local organizations; our local Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation and 3D Children’s Society.
Both charitable organizations provide valuable services to our community. The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation’s Key to Care Campaign provides funding for new and essential services as well as comfort items for our hospital. This year's donation will support the Mobile Mammogram Clinic, bringing cutting edge screening capabilities to women in rural and remote northern communities. 3D Children’s Society was founded by a local teacher in 1999, and is a volunteer run charitable organization that uses all monies raised to support critically ill kids and their families from all three local school districts; public, catholic & county. Support is tailored to each family’s unique needs and most often includes assistance with expenses for medical trips, therapies and medical equipment.
The tournament will run from 9am - 7pm with registration beginning at 8am. Teams will consist of 6-10 players with a minimum age of 16 years. In keeping with the spirit of the tournament, we ask that all players be employees, family or friends of the sponsoring company. Mixed teams are welcome. The team entry fee is $1,500 which includes a jersey for each player and a minimum of 4 games.
There is something for the whole family, including children’s activities, live DJ, food trucks, a dunk tank and family friendly beer gardens. Registration will remain open until the tournament has been filled. We fill up every year, so register early to secure your team’s spot! Admission is free, so be sure to bring your friends and family to cheer you on.
