The Bradford House Historical Association will host a free community celebration on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. to mark the 60th anniversary of the Bradford House Museum, honoring the Washingtonians who, in 1965, united to preserve this landmark of early American history. Throughout the afternoon, guests are invited to enjoy guided tours of the Bradford House Museum at 175 S. Main Street, as well as the Whiskey Rebellion Education & Visitor Center and the Meeting House across Main Street. The celebration will feature live music, including expert fiddling by Alex Brown and a performance by Wayward Companion, along with the George Dobich art exhibit. Visitors will also experience a lively, family-friendly musical “argument” between Alexander Hamilton and a beleaguered farmer. Complimentary refreshments will be served, and a commemorative gift will be available while supplies last.
The open house is free and family-friendly, with no registration required. However, RSVPs are encouraged and may be sent to Bradford House Executive Director Tracie Liberatore at [email protected].
