Bristol’s Stone Church Coffee House at the First Congregational Church welcomes for the first time 60s Thunder on Saturday, November 8. Without a doubt, the 1960’s was the big bang of popular music. No other decade can touch the number of timeless songs we still cherish from the 60’s. Take a step back in time with New England’s premier 1960’s tribute band, 60’s Thunder. Be transported to the “decade of change” with a diverse song selection delivered with youthful exuberance, authentic instruments, and sweet harmonies, all backed by a multimedia presentation. Enjoy tracks by the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Motown classics and many more. Can you dig it?
60’s Thunder isn’t just any tribute band. Its members have rocked cruise ships around the globe, toured Europe, and even played the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool, the very birthplace of The Beatles’ legacy. They have shared the stage with music royalty including Pete Best (the Beatles’ original drummer), Mickey Dolenz and Peter Tork of The Monkees, James McCartney, plus members of The Rolling Stones, The Police, and The Cars. With Berklee College of Music graduates in the mix, this band delivers an authentic, polished sound with serious muscle.

Bristol’s Stone Coffee House is an affordable, family-oriented, handicap-accessible musical venue. Doors open at 6:45PM and the show starts at 7:30PM. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Light refreshments will be available. Tickets are $25.00 per person (students are half price; children 5 and under are free).
