Come and celebrate 6 years of dancing and music in Bundaberg and some birthdays with us. It's been a whirl, going from a restaurant to the park as our "just for now" spot which held us for 4.5 years as our community grew, to opening a studio last year. I was there every Sunday for years and eventually could take a break with my daughter and leave the catch ups in some great hands. Thank you :) The journey has always been captivating, exciting, fulfilling and driven by passion and my love for community and seeing people receive the benefits of dance and music that really can change your life. It saved me! My goal was to make sure that everyone had access to music and dance no matter what their economic status, background, beliefs or all the rest of it were and create an inclusive social dance community. People told me it wouldn't work....we're still here! And only becoming more established and deeply rooted in the Widebay region. The change in the last 18 months has been huge so I hope anyone that we haven't seen for a while feels like resurfacing, there's a whole bunch of brothers and sisters that you haven't met in your dance fam yet! We changed from Bundaberg Latin Fusion to Baylando because our community is the whole of the bay and Bailando means dancing. My daughter added in 'Dance to the rhythm of your soul' which became 'Dance, Play, Live To the rhythm of your soul.' So come and set your soul alight!
Plus it's Jess and my birthdays and we'd love to celebrate with you! If anyone else needs to join us in the 'wheel of doom' please dob them in!
We'll give the new aircons a run and kick off after the flash mob rehearsals.
