We’ll dive into the art of creating functional teapots and coffee carafes — exploring complex forms, fitted lids, spouts, handles, and balance in both design and function. Each week focuses on building, refining, and finishing components to create cohesive, usable pieces.This class is not for beginners and is ideal for those comfortable centering clay and pulling consistent walls. By the end of the session, you’ll have a fully finished teapot or coffee carafe — and a deeper understanding of craftsmanship, proportion, and surface design.
