Step onto the dance floor and experience the sensual, smooth, and deeply connected world of Kizomba. Whether you’re brand new or already in your flow, our Friday night series is designed to help you build confidence, connection, and beautiful movement step by step.

What is Kizomba?
Kizomba originated in Angola in the late 1970s and early 1980s, evolving from the traditional dance Semba and influenced by Caribbean rhythms such as Zouk. Over time, Kizomba grew into a globally loved partner dance known for its close connection, grounded steps, smooth body movement, and slow rhythmic flow.
Today, it is one of the most popular social dances around the world—valued for its musicality, emotional expression, and the way it brings people together through movement.

Beginners | 6 PM
Perfect for first-timers and newer dancers learning fundamentals, rhythm, and connection.
Intermediate | 7 PM
For dancers who already know basics and want to advance technique, musicality, and partner flow.
No partner required — come solo or bring a friend!

TERMINOLOGY:
LEADER: The Lead is responsible for guiding the follower into each dance step through various signals.
FOLLOWER: Moves and processes the Lead's guidance.
We have some temporary rules that are expected to be followed and precautions that will be enforced:
1) Due to limited class size: NO WALKS-IN! MUST REGISTER ONLINE OR BY PHONE.
3) Hand Sanitizers are always available.
4) If you do not feel well, please let us know.
