This 6 week course will run at the studio in Driffield on the dates listed below from 10.00am- 4.00pm.21st Sep, 28th Sep, 5th Oct, 12th Oct, 19th Oct and 26th Oct
The course is designed for people who understand the basic fundamentals of pattern drafting. By the end of this 6-week course you will be able to understand how to alter the shape of patterns to fit and design customised blocks to use as the basis for your own patterns, the timetable for the course will be;
1. Drafting of a basic trouser block
2. Drafting of a Jean block
3. Converting a trouser block
4. Drafting a dress block
5. Drafting a circle skirt
6. Fit and variations
The focus of the course will be on the drafting of the patterns, there will be the opportunity to make a garment but you will not be able to advance it beyond toile owing to the level of drafting required.
The total cost of the course is £250.00 The class size will be kept to a maximum of 6 people due to the complexity of the course and to ensure plenty of help is available.
You may, if you wish pay by instalments with the Full balance due two weeks before the course start date. We are asking for a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 now to secure your place. Everything you need will be supplied and spares and supplies will be available to buy throughout the course.
