"Welcome to our Intermediate Wheel Throwing pottery class, where we focus on improving essential skills like centering, shaping, trimming, and surface treatments. From bisque firing to glazing, gain confidence in specific areas like rims, feet, lids, handles, spouts, and altering techniques. The instructor will demonstrate alteration methods for oval, square, and irregular forms, alongside classic round pots. We'll explore the balance between aesthetics and function with handles, feet, and spouts. No matter your starting point, we want to help advance your wheel-throwing expertise and expand your abilities. This course includes 15 hours of instruction, up to 25lbs of clay, glaze, and fire service. Want more time in the studio add on 9am to 9pm Access during your 6 week course for an additional fee.
