🎨 Foundations of Art: Core Elements – 6-Week Homeschool Art Class
I’m excited to offer a 6-week homeschool art class using the Living Art Lessons: The 7 Elements curriculum!
This class is hands-on, creative, and mixed-age friendly, making it a great option for families with siblings. Students explore line, shape, and color, building skills, confidence, and creativity through guided projects.
📅 Class Details
Day: Thursdays
Time: 12:00–1:30 PM
Dates: January 15 – February 19
Length: 6-week session
Ages: Approximately 7–13
Max Class Size: 12 students (including 2 drop-in spots)
Drop-off class: Parents are not required to stay. Students should be picked up promptly at the end of class.
Mixed-age friendly: same project for all, with guidance adjusted by age and skill
Students complete a mini-portfolio to showcase their work

Families do not need to purchase curriculum or supplies
👨‍👩‍👧 Behavior Policy
Students must be respectful, responsible, and kind
Disruptive students will require parent pickup
A discussion will be scheduled before a student may return if an issue arises
Tuition is non-refundable, except in serious medical cases with a doctor’s note
💰 Tuition
$65 per student
$100 per family (up to 3 children)
Tuition includes: 6-week instruction, student Artist Journal, all in-class supplies, and the final Art Show & Awards celebration
🔁 Drop-In Option
2 drop-in spots available per session
Must register at least 24 hours in advance
Drop-ins are space-available only
Drop-in rate: $15 per class
Drop-ins must follow all class rules and behavior expectations
🎨 Final Art Show & Awards Night
Date: Thursday, February 19, evening (e.g., 6:00–7:00 PM)
Students display all projects from the session
Families and friends invited to view artwork
Fun awards and certificates for all students
Optional light refreshments and photo opportunities
