This course is designed for students who have completed our Intro to the Wheel class (or equivalent experience) and are eager to refine their technique, experiment with more advanced forms, and dive deeper into surface design.With over 18 years of teaching experience and a degree in ceramics, your instructor will guide you through tailored projects—whether you’re working from a Pinterest inspiration or dreaming up something entirely your own. We’ll focus on quality over quantity, learning how to throw with intention, trim with precision, and create pieces you’re truly proud to showcase.
Expect more time on complex forms, hands-on guidance in advanced decorating techniques, and a creative environment where your ideas can take shape. By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll have a collection of thoughtful, well-crafted pottery that reflects your growing skills.
