Level up your comedy with a structured, supportive 6‑week workshop at The Aftermath.
Whether you're brand new to stand‑up or looking to sharpen your fundamentals, this course gives you the tools, reps, and feedback you need to grow fast — without the pressure of a regular open mic.
Across six weekly sessions, you’ll learn the core pillars of stand‑up: stage presence, joke structure, tag writing, crowd work, storytelling, and hosting. Each class blends instruction, guided exercises, and practical stage time so you can immediately apply what you learn.
At the end of the course, students have the option to participate in a Week 7 Tight‑5 Showcase, performing a polished five‑minute set in front of a live audience. This is completely optional, but highly encouraged for anyone ready to take the next step.
Attendance:
Because each week builds on the last, students are expected to attend all sessions unless they’ve communicated otherwise with the organizer. Consistency is key — the more you show up, the more you’ll get out of it.
