This 6 week course is good class for those who have never thrown clay. Includes 25# of clay ($30 value) + access to studio during open student hours. It covers studio layout, equipment, and safety. Learn to wedge and center the clay, how to throw and practice making cylinders for even and straight walls. We will work on body posture, hand positioning and control of clay; focus will be on cylinders, bowls and cups. Students are encouraged to be creative and have fun! 5:30-7:30PM. No class Memorial weekend.
