Learn how to get your writing published in mainstream media!Led by Lisa Cappiello, in a fun, creative, supportive environment, writers can:
- Work on individual pieces (poetry, personal essay, short story, etc.) or a book manuscript in progress
- Learn writing and editing tips, techniques, and strategies
- Share their work with Lisa and the group, ask questions, and receive constructive feedback to make their work stronger
- Participate in simple breathwork and creative writing activities to help tap into their creativity and combat writer’s block
- Be recommended guides and resources with listings of publishers and literary agents
- Spend a full hour and a half each week focusing on their writing, while being part of an amazing community of fellow talented and inspiring creatives (and nice people)
- Each week, Lisa will provide mentor texts and new creative writing prompts/activities, so having a writing piece in-progress is not necessary.
The six sessions take place on Mondays from 6:30PM to 8PM starting on September 23rd and concluding on October 28th.* Cost is $400 per person. Please note that unlike previous iterations this workshop does not include publication of work. All sales are final.
*Dates and time are subject to change with advance notice.
