Attendees will learn to identify and mitigate risk factors for injury specific to the powerlifting population. (Great information for all strength training athletes)Attendees will be introduced to complex macroscopic programming strategies for the sport of powerlifting.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive hands on technical correction and will be instructed how to identify and correct many common technique flaws in the squat, bench press and deadlifts.
The seminar is broken down into two different parts. During the first half of the seminar, attendees will be introduced to training principles, methodologies and there will be a large Q and A. What makes the 5th set seminar so unique is the extended Q & A attendees will have the opportunity to ask Swede any questions they might have. It is an open-ended discussion.
After that, attendees will learn proper squat technique and they themselves will squat and receive personal attention and instruction from Swede. This is also during the first half of the seminar.
Then there will be a short break for lunch which is included in the seminar.
After lunch during the second half of the seminar, each attendee will learn the proper technique for the benchpress and deadlift and they themselves will perform the bench press and deadlifts with Swede providing feedback queuing and instructing.
Doors open at 9:30am and seminar will begin promptly at 10am. End time is tentative and is dependent upon the number of attendees. Tentatively we have scheduled 6pm.
