🥋 5th Nepal Open International Taekwondo Championship 2025 🇳🇵📣 A Call to All Stakeholders
Dear Taekwondo Family, Partners, and Supporters,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 5th Nepal Open International Taekwondo Championship 2025 and the International Martial Arts Academy Nepal (IMAN), we would like to express our deepest regret in informing you that, due to the protests, the current political instability, and the fragile security situation in Kathmandu, it has become increasingly difficult to ensure a safe and suitable environment to host the event as originally scheduled on September 18–20, 2025 at the Covered Hall of the National Sports Council.
Considering these circumstances, and prioritizing the safety and well-being of all players, officials, and participants, the Organizing Committee has made the decision to postpone the championship to November 14–16, 2025.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to all participating clubs, players, officials, and supporters who have been eagerly preparing for this important event. We greatly value your dedication and sporting spirit and remain fully committed to delivering a successful championship on the rescheduled dates.
We kindly request your understanding and cooperation during this time. Please be assured that we will remain in close communication and provide timely updates as we move forward.
