The 5th International Conference on Community Ecology is the premier event for enthusiasts in the field of community ecology. Join us on 3-5 September 2025 in the vibrant city of Budapest, Hungary, for three days of networking and learning with peers from around the globe. Both students and experienced researchers in the field of community ecology who are studying plant, animal, and/or microbial communities in terrestrial, marine, or freshwater systems are eligible to apply. Accepted work may range from applied modeling approaches to theoretical analyzes, from experimental approaches to data collection and analysis. The 5th International Conference on Community Ecology will explore the multidimensional challenge of identifying and implementing resilient, durable and regenerative community ecology solutions that bring well-being to ecosystems.
After the congress, ComEc5 Participants will be invited to submit their paper to the Special Issue of the journal Community Ecology.
