About this Event
Standing with Haiti, Meeting this Moment
It is undeniable that development assistance efforts for Haiti have often failed, not only because of challenging country conditions but because we have not invested in the right things in the right way.
Amid deepening crises and ballooning humanitarian need, it is more important than ever to support the Haitian people and forces for change, and to do so effectively.
There ARE solutions and inspiring examples of partners working with communities to outpace poverty and change systems.
If you are a donor, impact investor or social entrepreneur who continues to seek the best ways to support Haitian communities to pursue paths to prosperity, then this conference is for you.
Join our engaged community of funders and experts committed to supporting Haitian-led development to:
• learn about success stories and consult with peers on challenges,
• hear from experts on the current political and economic situation and what it means for development efforts,
• build relationships for coordination and collaboration, and
• learn about significant initiatives where integrated investments can achieve systemic impact.
The conference program is designed to be highly participatory, and to provide ample time and space for participants to network.
For the first time, to defray the costs of this event, we will charge a registration fee. Because we do not want cost to be a barrier to anyone's participation, we offer two fee levels; please register at the level that honors your resources. We also offer an opportunity for funders to sponsor the participation of a Haitian leader, resource person or student.
A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Kellogg Conference Hotel for the nightly conference rate of $209+tax/fee. Overnight parking is free for conference attendees. You may book your hotel room through this link: https://reservations.travelclick.com/10458?groupID=3819989
