HOW DO I PREPARE? Practice at home! Make sure your technique looks sharp! If you have questions or want some feedback on your demonstration, your instructors are happy to help you before or after class.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON COMPETITION DAY? Arrive early for warmups. Late arrivals will not be permitted to compete.
Wear your FULL UNIFORM. Check-in at the front desk. They will let you know which mat you will be competing on. Your instructors will explain the process step-by-step.
When it is your turn to compete, put 100% effort into your demonstration. And don’t forget to use your voice! You will be judged on your intensity, technical precision, and confidence in your performance!
Each level will be kicked off by a Black Belt Exhibition, where current Black Belts will showcase higher level skills. We hope this inspires ALL our students to keep working toward your Black Belt goals!
