The Summer Youth Gala is an annual celebration of resilience, talent, and leadership among our community’s youth. Hosted by Friends and Mentors, Inc. (FAM), this signature event highlights the accomplishments of our young leaders while raising crucial funds to sustain our year-round mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement programs.This year marks our 5th anniversary, and we’re making it bigger and bolder. Expect an unforgettable evening of inspiration, live performances, youth awards, dinner, and dancing.

Dress Code: The Harlem Renaissance Edition
Step back into the glamour and soul of the 1920s–1930s Harlem Renaissance! This was a time of bold style, cultural pride, and artistic expression. We encourage all guests to dress in vintage-inspired fashion that honors the era’s creativity and class.
• Flapper-style or floor-length gowns
• Fringe, beading, sequins, or feathers
• Long gloves, pearls, boas, and jeweled headbands
• Finger waves or vintage-inspired hair
• Tailored suits or tuxedos
• Double-breasted jackets, suspenders, or vests
