Runway for a Cure DC, a non-profit organization, is sponsoring its 5th Annual Fashion Show,"Runway for a Cure DC". Our mission is to promote early detection of cancer, help with the cost of mammograms, and give donations to help with the financial obligations of cancer survivors.
Runway for a Cure DC’s celebrates the lives of Breast Cancer Survivors, encourage family and friends of those affected by Breast Cancer, and to give back to individuals or organizations who support Breast Cancer Research, Awareness, and Survivors! This year's beneficiary is Breast Care for Washington, DC. The event will take place at the Grand Hyatt from 2:00 p.m.- 6 p.m. E.S.T. on Saturday, August 13, 2022. DOORS OPEN AT 2:00 PM. SHOW STARTS AT 2:30 PM. Buy a combination fashion show and Pink and White affair ticket, and come party with us at the 19th Annual "Pink and White Breast Cancer Awareness Affair".
TICKET PURCHASES ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE as we are a non-profit who donates to Breast Cancer causes.
The show will feature presentations from the hottest Fashion Designers in the Washington DC area with designs worn by some of the most fierce models from Washington. As usual, our Fabulous Breast Cancer Survivors will be ripping the runway in the show!!!!
Swag bags will be given to VIP attendees. Guests will also have a chance to win raffle giveaways.
Tickets also being sold to the 19th Annual Pink and White Affair that starts at 8 pm the same evening.

Raymia Henderson, Founder of Runway for a Cure DC, Fashion Stylist, and Designer, is excited about organizing this annual event because it celebrates life and women who have been affected by Breast Cancer, who are learning to be comfortable with their body during and after Breast Cancer treatment, and who continue to be Fabulous Survivors!
This event is important because we must educate women under 50, in particular, because the death rate of women in this demographic has continued to rise and Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of death in women next to lung cancer.
