Please join us on Sunday January 19, 2025 as we host the 5th Annual Larry Doody Memorial Radar Run. This year because of the mild season we have had the location of the event has been moved from previous years. We had a kind and generous landowner step forward and offer an area of their property so the club could continue this annual event. The club asks that EVERYONE PLEASE be respectful of the land and the landowner's wishes. Gates will open at 7am with registration starting at 7:30 am. Racing will begin at 10 am. Gate admission is $10 per person and kids 12 and under are free. Registration is $20/3 runs and $10 for each additional run. The 3 runs CAN NOT be split across 3 different classes. If you are already a 2024-25 club member we will give you 3 additional runs for free on top of what you purchase to participate. Those that are NOT already club members but wish to join we will have membership applications on hand that day for you to join and receive 3 free additional runs as well. ISR rules are being followed for this event. Tether cords are " HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" for safety but not required to participate. There will be a food truck on site serving hot food along with hot and cold beverages. There will be some club swag on hand for those looking. Awards will be given to the To 3 finishers in each class along with a King of Speed award at an awards ceremony directly after the event. Location TBD. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT GO DIRECTLY INTO THE LARRY DOODY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND. Year to date the club has been able to award over $6,000 Greater Caribou Area Tech Center students going onto a secondary education in a hard trade at a community college. We hope to see you all there for a great day of racing and supporting a good cause!!!
