Join us for Freedom Ball 2025 on Saturday, October 11th at the South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront.This year marks the 5th Annual Freedom Ball, and we’re honored to welcome comedian and motivational speaker Bobby Henline as our keynote. A retired Army Staff Sergeant and four-tour Iraq War veteran, Bobby is the sole survivor of a devastating roadside bomb attack. His ability to turn tragedy into humor has inspired thousands, making him a truly powerful voice for resilience and hope.
Enjoy an evening of exceptional food and wine, a live auction led by Randy Stabe and Clint Vos of Stabe Auction and Realty, and heartfelt moments throughout the night. Your emcees will be KTIV’s Al Joens and his wife, Freedom Park Board Member Melissa Lanzourakis.
Proceeds from Freedom Ball 2025 will support the creation of a shelter and reflection area surrounding Siouxland Freedom Park’s Freedom Rock. This new addition will honor 11 local heroes, with 4-foot pillars sharing their biographies. The project will complete the Rock site, which already features benches representing each military branch. A sidewalk lined with Dedication Bricks will create a fully immersive space for reflection and remembrance.
