About this Event

Join us for the 5th Annual Facets of Freedom Juneteenth Festival, a vibrant celebration of heritage, history, and community! This year, the festival returns to the Orlando Family Stage in Loch Haven Park on June 19, 2025.
Kick off the day with our special Children's Juneteenth Lunch and Learn from 10 AM to 1 PM, featuring engaging readings of books about Juneteenth, art stations for creative expression, fun face painting, and exciting prize giveaways. This interactive experience will foster learning and celebration for our youngest attendees.
Throughout the day, enjoy live music on the outdoor stage featuring local artists and musicians, creating a lively atmosphere for all. Attendees can take a stroll through the Juneteenth market, which showcases local Black-owned businesses. Savor delicious offerings from a variety of Black-owned food trucks and vendors, showcasing mouthwatering cuisine that celebrates cultural flavors. Additionally, indulge in craft cocktails made with Black-owned spirits, providing a unique taste experience that honors our community.
As the evening approaches we will have musical performances, dance, and spoken word that showcase the richness of African American artistry and the resilience of our community. In addition, we will have a visual art exhibit featuring Black Central Florida artists, giving you an opportunity to appreciate their unique talents and perspectives as well as purchase local Black artwork. Performances will be held at 6 pm and 8pm in the Universal Theatre.
General admission is donation-based, allowing everyone to participate in this enriching celebration. Connect with the community, learn about the significance of Juneteenth, and celebrate the rich tapestry of African American history and culture. Mark your calendars and come be a part of this unforgettable event!
