This event is a great (family-friendly) fall festival! The Monster Dash and 5K Fun Run will be on the bike path next to the scenic Mighty Mississippi. The vendor fair with live music is open to the public and is FREE ADMISSION!!
Empower House is Iowa's only brain injury Clubhouse and is one of less than 20 nationally. We are proud to be celebrating our 5th anniversary serving survivors this year. The Spooktacular serves as Empower House's largest annual fundraiser to support the mission of a community that provides empowerment for a more purposeful life after brain injury. We appreciate your support!

In addition to a prize for largest team, we will also be giving a prize for the team who raises the most money!! This is super easy- when you create a team page when registering for the race, you can also fundraise directly through that page! AND people who don't register for the race can still donate! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Remember, a team can be made up of family, friends, co-workers, strangers, whoever you choose!
