5th Annual Earth Day Countywide Cleanup

Help us celebrate Earth Day in Johnston County, NC! Let's work together to remove litter across the county, in parks, open spaces, on trails, and roadsides, on Saturday, April 26th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Participating locations include but are not limited to:

• Town of Benson
• Princeton Community Action
• Bentonville Battlefield
• Cleveland School Rotary
• Town of Archer Lodge
• Town of Clayton
• Town of Selma
• Town of Smithfield
• Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center
• Triangle Land Conservancy's Flower Hill Nature Preserve

Businesses, churches, youth groups, neighborhoods, civic groups, families, and individuals across the county are invited to participate.

Details:

• Our goal is to work with local parks and recreation departments and nonprofit organizations in towns across the county, as well as NC DOT as part of the Litter Sweep initiative.

• Supplies will be provided at each location as available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
