Join Covenant HealthCare Foundation for the 5th Annual Covenant Kids Gala on Friday, October 10, at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw!The Covenant Kids Gala is a black-tie affair featuring musical entertainment, a four-course meal, festivities, and fellowship to raise awareness and funding for Covenant Children’s Hospital. This year’s Covenant Kids Gala will focus on the Covenant Regional Intensive Care Unit (RNICU), celebrating 50 years of quality care for infants.
About this Special Event
For decades, families in the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond have trusted Covenant HealthCare to provide extraordinary newborn and pediatric care. Among its many services, Covenant Children’s Hospital is home to a Regional Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experienced in providing high quality care to critically ill infant, child, and adolescent patients from across Michigan’s lower peninsula.
The 5th Annual Covenant Kids Gala will support the purchase a RetCam for the RNICU. This specialized digital camera is used to capture high-resolution images of a premature infant's retina. It's an essential tool for ophthalmologists to screen for and monitor Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a disease that can lead to vision loss or blindness if not detected and treated early.
