5th Annual Cars for Chris Car Show Expands with Safe Driving Awareness Area
Williamsburg, VA – May 17, 2025 – The Christopher King Foundation proudly announces the 5th Annual Cars for Chris Car Show, celebrating five years of honoring Christopher King’s legacy and promoting safe driving awareness. This year’s event will feature an expanded Safe Driving Awareness Area, reinforcing the foundation’s mission to educate and protect young drivers.
The car show will showcase over 100 classic, vintage, and custom cars, along with interactive exhibits focused on seat belt safety, distracted driving prevention, and impaired driving awareness. The event will also feature a Kids Zone, vendor booths, and community partners, including Police, Fire Trucks, Drive Safe Hampton Roads, YOVASO, Drive Smart Virginia, DMV, the Conner Gweedo Memorial Foundation, and Virginia Tech’s Transportation institute’s Tractor Trailer.
Since its inception, the event has raised over $48,000 to support youth education on responsible driving. Last year, more than 600 attendees participated, showing strong community commitment to the cause.
