Join Sunrise Rotary for an afternoon of blues and barbecue from Fire Basket in support of Rotary Youth Camp. The event was created to honor the memory of Fred Addonizio, longtime Sunrise member and friend to the community.
The Rotary Youth Camp gives children with disabilities a unique opportunity to enjoy a week of activities, fun, and friendship with other children. For many, it's the first time in their lives they've been away from their parents and participating in such activities.
Fred was a huge proponent of this camp, volunteering countless hours over the years, putting together different activities and transporting the kids.
Our goal is to raise enough money to ensure that there is new equipment that is badly needed currently, as well as creating a scholarship fund to ensure that any child that would like to go to the camp has the means to make it happen.
Musical entertainment will be going on all afternoon, including:
- Short Notice
- "Dangerous" Dave's Jam Band
- The Chason Circharo Band (the headliner, from Atlanta)
