About this Event
Join us for the 4th annual 5K Run in space costumes along Canals of Milan during 75th IAC 2024 !
Registration & Route. With your registration, you receive T-shirt, nutritious breakfast/fruit, equipment, water, a bib, and more. By registering you will receive updates and information about the meeting location, schedule, opening launch announcements, running route, and more. After picking up Tshirt beforehand or at beginning & the opening remarks at the start location near Naviglio Martesana, a 24-mile path with canals designed by da Vinci. You are also welcome to register as a group with your team or company.
Donations/Sponsorship. Donate via Eventbrite to contribute, and/or to sponsor the Space Run !
T-Shirts. Tshirts are Performance/Athletic Shirt & are bigger than anticipated with Relaxed fit: loose fit on body, chest, & arms. With 3.8 oz. 100% moisture-wicking polyester thin material, the highly breathable fabric of this Sport‑Tek shirt is lightweight so it won't weigh you down in the heat and humidity. After placing Tshirt order by Sep 15, we cannot guarantee a Tshirt if you register afterward.
You are encouraged to wear a space costume (suitable for running/walking). Observers/spectators are welcome to cheer on runners and join people with space costumes amongst the morning sunrise.

5:45 -6:30 AM - Registration Booth near front entrance
6:30 AM - Opening Speeches & Depart from Heydar Aliyev Centre
7:00 AM - Opening Remarks, Photos
7:10 AM - Run Starts (Naviglio Martesana)
9:00 AM - Run Ends

Note: this event is a fun run but participants can be competitive as they like. Runners are welcome to store bags/items at tables nearby start area, nearby public toilets. After runners finish, you may carpool together back to Conference centre from the start and finish (which are both the same location)
